Steal My Style - A-Line Summer Dress

As I'm sure we are all aware, Ireland has had a fabulous summer this year. The sun has been shining almost every day, which is a lovely change compared to previous summers. Because of this, I have had so many opportunities to wear all the gorgeous summer outfits that my wardrobe is brimming with. As I do with all of my Steal My Style posts (which you can find here), I will break this outfit down, and if a piece is no longer available, I will try my best to find an affordable lookalike.

As I mentioned in my last Steal My Style post (read it here), this summer, I've been making an effort to wear clothes that I've bought and never worn. I'm not sure if this dress from Red Herring counts as I wore it once, right after I bought it a few years ago, but sure we'll say it does anyway. I really love the small cutout details on the collarbones and the overall light, flowy, and flattering style. The dress below is from Yumi and is quite a similar style.

I bought these sandals in the Clarks outlet the last time I visited Kildare Village. I desperately needed a pair of sandals with a low block heel, and I came across these reduced from €80 to €25, so, of course, I snapped them up immediately. Sure wouldn't I be mad not to buy them as they ticked all the boxes? They're very comfortable and I can wear them all day with no problems, so I'm a very happy lady indeed. The New Look pair I have linked below is very similar to mine, other than the fact that mine has the woven detailing on the straps.

This DKNY bag was one of my first designer bag purchases. It's not one that I really use that much, but I wore it with this outfit because it matches my sandals quite well. It was surprisingly difficult to find a nice handbag bag that resembles mine, but I eventually came across this really affordable crossbody from Dorothy Perkins. This bag is perfect for summer as it's a nice size and would compliment your summer wardrobe perfectly.

  2. I can definitely relate - I've so many summer clothes in my wadrobe and I never really got to wear them until this summer! 😅 I like the classic look of this outfit and NEED these sandals. 😍
