bareMinerals The Hidden Treasure Eyeshadow Palette
bareMinerals absolutely killed it with their Holiday 2017 collection. I bought more sets than I would like to admit, but in my defence, they are great value. One of my favourite pieces from the collection definitely has to be The Hidden Treasure READY 18.0 Eyeshadow Palette. It took me a considerable amount of time to get my hands on it (I only got it about a month ago), but it was definitely worth it. As I do with all of my bareMinerals reviews, I will divide this post into smaller sections, discussing everything you need to know before you purchase your own palette.
Packaging - As always, bareMinerals have absolutely nailed their packaging. The Holiday 2017 collection's theme was glossy gold, and I love it. As with the Bare Naturals and Bare Sensuals palettes, there is a full-sized mirror on the lid, which I find very handy. This palette, however, does not come with a brush, but I don't mind as I generally prefer to use the full sized brushes that can be bought separately.
Shades - The Hidden Treasure palette contains 18 shades - a mix of matte, satin, and metallic finishes. It focuses on creamy nudes, browns, and greys/silvers. I find that it's such a versatile palette, and I can see myself using it all year round, especially with some shades from my other palettes.
Application - I honestly think that bareMinerals doesn't get enough credit. Their eyeshadows are absolutely gorgeous! They blend beautifully, the pigmentation is spot on, the fall-out is next to none, and lasts for up to 12 hours. What more could you ask for?
Price - The bareMinerals Hidden Treasure eyeshadow palette retails at €52, which I feel is really reasonable considering that the total value is twice that.
Conclusion - Although there are so many palettes on the market, I definitely think that this is worth buying. I'm so impressed with this palette's versatility, quality, and affordability. bareMinerals has really done it again.
Where to buy? - I spent months searching for this palette because there are so few stockists. So far, I have only found it online from Boots, which is where I purchased it. This palette is a limited edition, so grab it while you can.
